The Human Resources Administrative Assistant will contribute and provide support to the development and maintenance of the Human Resources Department in keeping with the strategic direction of the company.

Core Functions:

Reporting to the Group Human Resources Manager the Human Resources Administrative Assistant will contribute and provide support to the development and maintenance of the Human Resources Department in keeping with the strategic direction of the company.  

 

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Facilitate HR administrative processes necessary to the effective running of the department
  • Create and distribute timely reports to HR management
  • Assist with organizing and executing employee and team building activities
  • Provide analytical support to the HR team
  • Type correspondence, memos, and presentations, prepare presentation and meeting materials; copy, collate, bind if necessary
  • Maintain calendar, schedule all meetings, and conference calls, field e-mails and phone calls requesting meetings, handle meeting conflicts and prioritization issues
  • Prepare and maintain all company related correspondence to include job letters, etc.
  • Monitor staff attendance and leave administration
  • Process documentation and prepare reports for payroll, staffing, grievances, and other areas as needed
  • Assist with the recruitment process where necessary
  • Assist with the New Hire Orientation and On-Boarding Programs.
  • Employee benefits processing
  • Handle staff queries as well as interpret policy and provide guidance as needed

 

 

Required Skills and Specialized Techniques

  • Excellent communication, writing, judgment, and problem-solving and analytic skills
  • Strong Excel skills (proficient in the use of functions, pivot tables)
  • Strong attention to detail as well as solid organization/time management skills
  • Must be an enthusiastic, positive team player who is willing to help and who works well with colleagues
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks concurrently
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, (especially Outlook for email, calendar and contacts, Powerpoint)
  • Keep up to date with office procedures and technical training as well as all policy guidelines and compliance requirements

  Special Conditions associated with job

  • Associate Degree in Human Resources Management
  • 3 years €™ experience in the field
  • Proven work experience
