Aqua Sol Theme Park

Aquasol Theme Park is a large amusement park on the ocean at Montego Bay. With go-kart racing, watersports and a white-sand beach, this is the perfect destination for families with young kids. Relax on a lounge chair by the water, use the professional tennis courts, or burn some energy on a kayak or jet ski.

Watersports are popular at the Aquasol Theme Park. Paddle around the calm beach waters on a banana boat. Rent snorkeling gear or a glass-bottom boat for a view of the marine life, including lionfish and colorful coral, just below the surface. Jet skiing, wave-running and parasailing are all available for the more adventurous visitor.

Go-kart racing is also popular at the park. Spend an hour at MoBay 500, the park’s go-kart racing track, and take the Honda carts for a spin. These carts, highly popular with younger kids, come either single- or double-seated.

The park has two full-size tennis courts, which are shaded by large trees. Rent balls and rackets from the park office for a small fee. Find table tennis and beach volleyball courts by the water. If you’d like to just sit back and relax, rent a chair and umbrella and hit the beach, which is patrolled by lifeguards.

At night, Aquasol hosts live music with local and national reggae and pop acts. Prices vary depending on the artist, so check ahead before your visit.

The complex includes showers, change rooms and lockers. Try lunch at the park’s sports bar, which serves a range of seafood and vegetarian options as well as local favorites such as jerk chicken.

Aquasol Theme Park is located at the Walter Fletcher Beach Complex, just a short walk from downtown Montego Bay.
